Shingletown Medical Center is committed to supporting the health and wellness of our community through our off-site community health center. Our facility features a 1000 square foot exercise space equipped with a variety of fitness equipment such as exercise mats, rowing machines, ellipticals, bikes, and resistance bands. While we do not have personal trainers on staff, a community health worker is available to assist with any questions. For the safety of our clients, COVID-19 precautions are in place.   • We do not have a physical therapist however if you have home exercises and stretching that has been recommended by a physical therapist we can help with guidance for proper form.

  • There is a certified Health and Wellness coach available for guidance on proper meal planning and techniques to improve digestion. Health and Wellness 12 week program is available by appointment.

  • We do not have space for classes. We do have exercise routines available for targeted muscle groups.

Membership Pricing: $20 for individuals and $30 for couples. No family memberships available. No personal trainers on staff. No squat racks, locker rooms, or showers available.

Emergency Food Closet

Shingletown Medical Center's Emergency Food Closet and Resource Center serves as a lifeline for community members facing dire circumstances. It is a place where qualified individuals can obtain assistance with basic necessities, as well as access resources for enrolling in medical insurance and learning about government assistance programs. The closet is stocked with donated non-perishable foods, fresh produce (when available), and hygiene items.

At Shingletown Medical Center, we believe in supporting and empowering our residents through education, support, and assistance. Our Emergency Food Closet is open to all ages, families, seniors, veterans, and low-income individuals in the Shingletown, Manton, and Viola area. Case managers are available to provide guidance and support. Delivery services are available for seniors living in the Shingletown area.

  • We do not have housing vouchers, but here is a referral to the Shasta County Housing Authority to inquire about their current housing programs 530-225-5160. Do you currently have housing?

  • You can receive food once a month, on a Wednesday with an appointment. Commodities is also available for additional monthly food support. Commodities is available the 2nd Monday of every month from 9:30am-10:30am. Here is the contact information to sign up 530-226-3071.
