Don’t miss this opportunity for one-stop giving at www.northstategives.org on Giving Tuesday, this year on November 29th. This nationally recognized day of giving back follows two days of holiday ‘deals’ at Thanksgiving time – Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
The Shasta Regional Community Foundation is leading North State Giving Tuesday, an online event where you can donate a minimum of $10 to nearly 100 local nonprofits that have registered and are eligible for a share of over $80,000 in boosts from your donations and prizes on the day of the event.
The Shingletown Medical Center (SMC) is very proud to announce that it has been chosen to be included in this year’s North State Giving Tuesday. SMC is hoping to raise more than $15,000 to help purchase a Shingletown Medical Center owned vehicle from the family owned TAYLOR MOTORS in Redding.
The SMC vehicle will be utilized for the following purposes and many more programs in the future:
• Enable our practitioners‘ to go to patients homes as part of the Health Home Program, and to bring patients with transportation issues to the clinic
• Transport patients to Redding for specialist appointments
• Transportation for those enrolled with substance abuse programs in Redding
To help SMC achieve it’s fundraising goal, you can make an on-line donation on November 29th from 6:00am to 6:00pm at https://northstategives.org/organizations/shingletown-medical-center/ or you can find us at www.northstategives.org under Health & Wellness.
If you prefer to drop off or mail in your contribution, donation cards are available at the medical center located at 31292 Alpine Meadows Road, Shingletown. You can also donate by phone at (530) 474-3390 or online via Paypal on the SMC website at https://shingletownmedcenter.org/.
As a thank you for your support, for every $50.00 donated to the Shingletown Medical Center you receive a drawing ticket for a $500.00 Chevron gas card to be drawn at the end of the fiscal year – June 2017.
It is through your partnership with the Shingletown Medical Center that we are able to support our community and we thank you!
