The Shingletown Medical Center–along with sponsorships from Shasta Regional Medical Center, KRCR & KCVU and Tim Riley & Associates–invites you to a FREE fun-filled day for the whole family. The event is a fund-raising event for the Shingletown Medical Center. The raffle and silent auction items are stunning and include works from our many one-of-a-kind local artists. There will be great food offered from Senor Rosa’s, Mesquite BBQ & Catering, and yummy Grampa’s Kettle Korn.

The FREE event will take place at the beautiful Lake McCumber camp on Saturday, September 13th from 11:00am to 4:00pm. There will be family fun for all ages! Kid’s crafts, face painting, water balloon games, egg races, horseshoes and Frisbee golf are just some of the offerings for youngsters and the young at heart. Bring your lawn chairs, as many events will take place on the beautiful lawn area.

The Reach Helicopter will be landing on the grass, and along with CalFire, special guest stars – Smokey the Bear and Sparky will be in attendance. There will be artists and craft booths displaying their wares and several health-related booths. The Lower Lassen K-9 Dog trainers will have a demonstration at 11:30am and well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Fun will include two (2) skits presented at 12:30pm and 2:30pm from the Stage 44 Players. Their play will be based on the hit movie and TV show “Mash”.

The event promises to be a FULL day of FUN, FOOD, GOOD MUSIC and GREAT LAUGHS!!!

Camp McCumber is located 10 miles east of downtown Shingletown off the 44 Hwy. Take a left on Lake McCumber Road, and go past the lake and parking patrol will guide you to the parking area.
